Spicy Sausage Gnocchi

An undoubtedly ultimate comfort food, sometimes Gnocchi is all you need to feel wholesome, homely, and full up. Try this spicy veggie alternative on for size – you’ll wonder how you ever went without it!

Ingredients:

1 jar any spicy pasta sauce
1 pack fresh Gnocchi
1 can Butter Beans
4 veggie Sausages
1 pack fresh Spinach
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder

Preparation:

Bring a large pot of water to the boil. Cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces, and drain the beans.

As the water comes to a boil, heat up a large frying pan on medium heat with a little oil. Cook sausages for 5 minutes, or until browned. Remove sausages from the heat, and set aside for now.

Add the gnocchi to boiling water and cook according to the package instructions. While the gnocchi is cooking, add your spinach to the sausages in frying pan and put back on a medium heat for 5 more minutes. Add in the salt, pepper and garlic powder to the pan and stir.

Drain your gnocchi and add to the frying pan. Throw in the beans and spicy pasta sauce, and heat for 5 more minutes. Mix to combine, and serve!
